COOL BREEZE1998 Grand Banks 46 Europa

COOL BREEZE  is a bristol example of what knowledgeable boaters believe is Grand Bank's finest work.  Her 'Europa' design combines one-level socializing space with two private staterooms and two heads, resulting in the perfect two-couple cruiser.  Well-equipped for long-distance cruising, her dual 300-gallon fuels tanks provide range exceeding 1000 miles, yet her twin 350HP Caterpillar diesels allow COOL BREEZE to motor along at almost 15 knots when weather or circumstances require a turn of speed.

COOL BREEZE features a rare and highly sought-after convertible salon settee which provides comfortable sleeping accommodations for a third couple or children. Furthermore, two heads, each with walk-in shower, makes short work of the 'morning routine'.  Abundant storage throughout the yacht makes certain that cruising necessities are stored safely and securely out of sight.

COOL BREEZE was recently upgraded with more than $170,000 spent on bow and stern thrusters, comprehensive networked electronics at both helms, new AGM batteries and battery charger, interior soft goods, flybridge upholstery and much more.  Her owner is relocating to the Southwest and with a heavy heart must offer her for sale.  She is turn-key ready to take her new owners on adventures near and far.

Dimensions and Capacities

Built on the same hull form as the popular GB 46 Classic, the Grand Banks 46 Europa offers a spacious deck house that opens aft to a covered cockpit. The impressive living space provided by the salon, weather-protected cockpit and side decks, bow sunpad, abundant storage, and expansive flybridge all add up to a very livable design. The flybridge sole extends over both side decks and the cockpit, providing extra protection from the sun and inclement weather. This extended flybridge is spacious enough for a complete upper helm station with built-in seating, an entertainment area, and a dinghy mounted athwartship.

COOL BREEZE's salon has been extensively upgraded with new upholstery for the convertible settee, new teak cabinetry, a pair of Stressless Recliners with shared Ottoman, and new premium carpeting.  Her interior is heated by a Webasto hydronic diesel-fired heating system.

COOL BREEZE's layout features a forward master cabin with queen berth and ensuite head and a second guest cabin to port with two single bunks. A guest head with shower lies to starboard.  Both heads feature VacuFlush fresh-water toilets

Engine room access on the 46 Europa is via a large hatch in the forward half of the covered cockpit. This allows for quick equipment checks without disturbing guests and crew in the main salon. The engine room, with five-feet of headroom, has ample space for her twin 350HP Caterpillar six-cylinder turbodiesel engines with AquaDrive shaft couplings and Onan 8kW generator, all while maintaining excellent service access.

COOL BREEZE features a covered cockpit and sidedecks plus a oversized flybridge with L-settee and teak table.  On-deck equipment includes:

Geoff was so good to work with. He helped me through every aspect of the buying process which I really appreciated. He kept in touch with me through email, phone calls and texts to make sure I understood everything. Very helpful from the minute I landed with directions and support for hotel room and dinner options in the area to the purchasing paperwork, sea trials and finally handing over the money and receiving the keys. He made it very easy for a first time buyer.

I have bought 3 boats from Stan Miller Yachts. 2 were Cabo Yachts that I purchased directly from Stan Miller, and recently I purchased a Viking Yacht where Stan Miller acted as my broker. I am very satisfied with the help and service that I got from Stan Miller and I would happily recommend them! Very professional and very smart.

Stan Miller helped me sell my Grand Banks 36 Classic and purchase a Grand Banks 38 Eastbay. The process was simple and enjoyable thanks to Ian McGhie who went above and beyond to share his vast knowledge and stay engaged with all involved parties until the deals were complete. Thanks Ian and Stan Miller team, I wouldn’t go anywhere else to buy or sell a boat.

Ian was fantastic from start to finish. He was quick to understand my needs and perspective and worked hard on my behalf. He is knowledgeable, has a great working knowledge of boats and the market. I would wholeheartedly recommend him.

It was my first time using Stan Miller Yachts brokerage services. My boat was docked in Mexico. I needed an experienced broker that understood both U.S. Coast Guard and Mexican government procedures. I chose Blake Oversmith. Blake did a great job in working with potential buyers. We had a very rapid closing. Blake stayed in touch to help the transition to the new owner. I highly recommend the Stan Miller team and Blake Oversmith.

Ian, Brad and the Stan Miller Yachts team were wonderful throughout the purchase of my first boat in almost 30 years and first major boat. Ian was patient and happy to answer all my questions and make sure that I understood everything and certainly crossed every “t” and dotted every “i”. I can’t say enough about their integrity, support and expertise. Thanks.
