Walkthrough and Accommodations

Welcome aboard "WANDRIN STAR", a nicely maintained Eastbay 58 Flybridge. The 58FB represents the largest Eastbay built by Grand Banks, and is sought out by keen yachts -men and -women looking for a solid, dependable flybridge cruiser with classic downeast lines.

Stepping aboard at the transom, you enter a large cockpit. Gorgeous teak sole and varnished teak trim provide a classic touch to her appearance. Storage lazarette space is accessed via the sole. A gently curving, molded-in stairwell with sturdy handrails provides safe access to the flybridge. The air-conditioned engine room is accessed via a large, water tight hatch.

Access to the salon is granted via an oversized sliding glass door, delivering you into a large, airy salon. The salon is designed to accommodate owners and their guests in comfort and style – two large settees and a club chair provide ample seating. A fold out, adjustable yacht table is easily changed to accommodate formal dining, cocktails or simply a night of card playing. For entertainment, a large flat screen TV (with satellite TV) is cleverly tucked away on a lift, aft of the port settee.  The straight settee to starboard converts to an additional berth, when needed. Elegant draperies and shades provide privacy and comfort. The interior cabin soles are varnished teak & holly which compliments the beautiful warm teak cabinetry.

To starboard and forward, a Double Stidd helm seat anchors the helm station, where the Captain has access to a wide range of navigational electronics and aids (see “Electronics”), as well as starboard door deck access.

Four steps down from the salon, the U-shaped galley is located to port – bright and airy, the galley is “open” to the salon and receives quite a bit of natural light from the main deck windows, as well as excellent ventilation from the opening porthole. The galley is well turned out, with Corian countertops, a dual basin stainless steel sink, twin Glacier Marine cold plate units (one freezer, two Sub-Zero refrigerators), Miele electric 4 burner cooktop, Miele Oven, Sharp Microwave and  Kitchen Aid trash compactor.

To starboard of the galley is a fantastic private library/office, or simply a spot to sit back and relax and chat with the chef. A stacked Asko washing machine and dryer set are located next to this room.

Moving forward through the companionway, a guest stateroom with two berths is located to port. This cheerful room features two side by side singles, a large closet and plenty of storage under the berths. Across the companionway is a guest head with a stall shower, toilet and vanity.

Forward of the guest accommodations, the master stateroom is large and very well-appointed, featuring a large, centerline island queen berth, hanging lockers, bureau storage drawers and private ensuite head access. Natural light is plentiful, via overhead hatches.

Geoff was so good to work with. He helped me through every aspect of the buying process which I really appreciated. He kept in touch with me through email, phone calls and texts to make sure I understood everything. Very helpful from the minute I landed with directions and support for hotel room and dinner options in the area to the purchasing paperwork, sea trials and finally handing over the money and receiving the keys. He made it very easy for a first time buyer.

I have bought 3 boats from Stan Miller Yachts. 2 were Cabo Yachts that I purchased directly from Stan Miller, and recently I purchased a Viking Yacht where Stan Miller acted as my broker. I am very satisfied with the help and service that I got from Stan Miller and I would happily recommend them! Very professional and very smart.

Stan Miller helped me sell my Grand Banks 36 Classic and purchase a Grand Banks 38 Eastbay. The process was simple and enjoyable thanks to Ian McGhie who went above and beyond to share his vast knowledge and stay engaged with all involved parties until the deals were complete. Thanks Ian and Stan Miller team, I wouldn’t go anywhere else to buy or sell a boat.

Bill T.

Ian was fantastic from start to finish. He was quick to understand my needs and perspective and worked hard on my behalf. He is knowledgeable, has a great working knowledge of boats and the market. I would wholeheartedly recommend him.

It was my first time using Stan Miller Yachts brokerage services. My boat was docked in Mexico. I needed an experienced broker that understood both U.S. Coast Guard and Mexican government procedures. I chose Blake Oversmith. Blake did a great job in working with potential buyers. We had a very rapid closing. Blake stayed in touch to help the transition to the new owner. I highly recommend the Stan Miller team and Blake Oversmith.

David T.

Ian, Brad and the Stan Miller Yachts team were wonderful throughout the purchase of my first boat in almost 30 years and first major boat. Ian was patient and happy to answer all my questions and make sure that I understood everything and certainly crossed every “t” and dotted every “i”. I can’t say enough about their integrity, support and expertise. Thanks.
