Kadey-Krogen 44 AE

  • 44.00 ft
  • Trawler

Overview

With the introduction of the Krogen 42’ forty years ago, Kadey-Krogen Yachts pioneered the full displacement trawler yacht.  Today, the Krogen 44’ AE has perfected the concept. She is a great sea boat, a proven transoceanic voyager and, just as important, thanks  to  her  layout  and  advanced  ergonomics  she  offers  live  aboard ease and comfort that is simply unparalleled.

A look around proves the point.  The  pilothouse  is  not  only  the  command  center  with  wide-angle  views,  this  is  a  focal  point  for  conversation  and  sight-seeing  for  the  whole  crew  as  well  as  a  living space with a double watch berth. The  flybridge  is  a  standard  feature  on  the  Krogen  44’  AE,  and  a  staircase,  not  just  a  ladder,  provides  convenient  access.  Also important to note, the foredeck of this model is all business. The bow  pulpit  and  windlass  are  set  up  for  dual  anchors  and  the  railings are high for safety.

Being  easier  to  handle  and  easier  to  maintain  are  qualities  that  every bluewater boat should offer, but few actually deliver these and the comfort of home, too. The Krogen 44’ AE offers as much as 25 percent greater fuel efficiency, superior construction techniques and advanced ergonomics.
