Grand Banks Yachts began its journey in 1956 as American Marine, Ltd.
The first Grand Banks Series was known as the Heritage Series, an
iconic design built first of wood and then, beginning in 1973, of
fiberglass at a new factory in Singapore. In 1993 they launched the
Eastbay line designed by Ray Hunt – there was no other boat that
combined ageless design and high performance like the Eastbay. In
2001 the Aleutian line was launched for those wanting to step up to a
larger and more luxurious vessel, but weren’t prepared to sacrifice
quality. Stan Miller Yachts became the Southern Californian dealer in
1978 and remains to this day the largest California Dealer with a
long lasting and far-reaching clientele that depend on our (their) 30
year history and knowledge of selling and buying Grand Banks
Yachts.
The Hatteras legend began on the barrier islands of the North Carolina in 1959, and continues to set the standard for ruggedness and high performance in all waters. This commitment to superior craftsmanship continues today. Stan Miller Yachts became the Authorized Hatteras Dealer for the entire Western United States in July 2004 and have successfully integrated the Hatteras brand due to their extensive experience and understanding of the West Coast Market for both the Sportfisher and Cruising client.
