Accommodations

RHAPSODY may be boarded from either side through gates in her railings or across the swim platform into her cockpit.  Wide walk-around side decks with tall bullwarks and heavy-duty railings make movement fore-and-aft safe and effortless.  Two steps lead to the boat-deck atop the aft cabin and three more steps lead up to the huge flybridge.  The flybridge helm is situated forward to starboard with companion seating to port.  Both seats have ample storage inside.  Back-to-back seating adjoins the helm area and faces an L-shaped settee with teak grating table.   RHAPSODY's flybridge provides unobstructed sightlines, and is the perfect location to entertain guests, whether underway, at anchor or in port.

The salon is entered from either side deck through hinged doors adjacent to the lower helm station and navigation table.  The lower helm station has a full compliment of navigational electronics including, Radar, GPS, Depth Sounder, AIS, Autopilot and VHF Radio.  Engine instrumentation include FloScan Digital Tachometers with Fuel Flow Monitors and Trip Totalizers in addition to the customary VDO analog gauges.  RHAPSODY's twin 300 HP John Deere diesel engines are controlled by Mathers MicroCommander electronic throttle and shift controls, making close-quarter operation effortless and precise.

Immediately aft of the lower helm seat on the port side is a bar with ice-maker followed by an L-shaped settee freshly re-upholstered in premium UltraLeather.   A drop-leaf dining table serves the settee and comfortably accommodates six dinner guests.  Opposite the settee is an upholstered sofa-bed that opens to sleep two additional guests.

Forward and down three steps from the salon is the galley to port.  Equipped with dual Grunert holding-plate refrigerator/freezers, RHAPSODY is able to keep food fresh for two or more days without operating her refrigeration compressor.  Her galley includes a double-bowl stainless steel sink, a three-burner propane stove with oven and separate microwave oven.  Generous storage is provided in teak cabinetry finished off with quartz countertops.

Forward of the galley is a light and airy guest stateroom featuring extra-long v-berths with a filler that converts the space into a near king-sized bed.  A hanging locker and dresser provide storage for a lengthy cruise.  Adjacent to the guest stateroom is the guest head which features a walk-in shower, VacuFlush fresh-water toilet and vanity with built-in sink.  The guest head also houses a Splendide vented combination clothes washer and dryer, making convenient work of keeping up with laundry duties.

Aft and down four steps from the salon is the master stateroom with ensuite split head.  A full queen berth is on centerline with dressers, a make-up table and hanging lockers on either side.  Aft and side portlights bathe the stateroom in sunlight yet provide privacy at bedtime.  To port is the master head with VacuFlush freshwater toilet and a vanity with oval sink.  To starboard is the master walk-in shower with built-in storage for towels and toiletries.   This 'split' arrangement allows captain and mate to prepare for an evening out without getting in each other's way.
