Vessel Overview

Popular 1980s sport fisherman with a roomy cockpit combined rugged construction with clean lines, efficient deck layout. Roomy bi-level cockpit with in-sole fishbox offers elbow space for several anglers. Simple cabin with fully enclosed head, full galley sleeps two in V-berth. (Powerboat Guide 2011)

Backlash is equipped with a factory tower and recently rebuilt mains. The boat is powered with twin Volvo TAMD41 (200 hp) diesels providing and efficient and reliable powerplant. Many upgrades have been done during the last few years of ownership including a significant amount of electrical re-wiring, additional battery systems, inverter system, bait systems, etc. The layout serves well as a fishing platform for a small crew or a family on weekend trips. Equipped with 3 bait tanks, two on helm deck not currently plumbed and a new Bluewater cockpit tank.
